Unfortunate!  Yes, I've watched my cable/internet prices climb.  When
I started, it was about $80/month for TV/modem.  3 years later, my
cable bill is $112/mo for the same service.  Pretty annoying, really.

Sorry to hear that.  I hope you'll still be around.  I am still hoping
to write an Apple // oriented/friendly BBS system, which will run
under Windows.  I am just getting moved into my new house now, and
once I get everything set up I'd like to start working on it.  I will
be writing it in VB.NET.  Though, I am going to write a gateway system
using the RS232 port in Visual C++, as .NET doesn't seem to (yet) have
a good serial "namespace" for that.  Unless it's like Windows NT/2K/XP
where it's all done through files.. hmm.. will have to look into
that..
