As the publisher of Harmonie, I can assure you that Harmonie provides
PCL Level 3 drivers for GS/OS. Using the Harmonie drivers, I've had a
LaserJet connected to my IIGS for years.

Because the publisher of Harmonie is a computer nerd, not a hot-shot
marketing kind of guy. All the blurbs I've ever written indicate that
Harmonie works with printers that are compatible with PCL-3.

At the beginning, that was only one or two different printers. These days,
there's way too many, and I've always felt that stating "PCL or
compatibles" covered the bases.

I'm also at somewhat of a disadvantage these days, using my IIGS to surf
the net. More and more of the printer manufacturer's sites are not
exactly Apple II friendly, so it's not very easy for me to find out
technical specs, what printers support PCL, or even what printers have
parallel ports.

And, since I've always offered Harmonie with a money back quarantee (which
no one has ever asked for), I'll leave it up to the potential purchaser to
determine if they own a Harmonie friendly printer. All the requirements
are listed at my web site at:

If you can provide me with all the technical specs of your printer, in
ASCII, I can tell you if it'll work with GS/OS and Harmonie. That said,
it's certainly not gonna print in color with a color Laser printer,
because those didn't exist when Harmonie was released...
