Interesting. The attached license agreement makes no mention of an Apple computer. It says that you may use the Software on one computer at a time, you may transfer the software to someone if you give them all of the documentation. It may arguably be legal to run the software ( including ROM images) on any computer which will run it, if you obtained all of the documentation and have a copy for each computer you run it on. This may be limited to Apple][+ ROMs, as mentioned earlier in this thread. There may well be a similar source of Apple][e ROMs, but the presence of clones by that time may have changed the license agreement.
