that raises another thought...
is there any technique that people have tried that helps preserve a good
case before it suffers from the yellowing disease, AFAIK cause by UV.
maybe some kind of vinyl/leather protector that is used on car dashes like
Armor All ? (not sure of the equivalent product in the US)
