Hi,

in case you've got a Win9x system (i.e. not NT/2000/XP) you may want to try
Dapple][ 0.27 (http://sourceforge.net/projects/dapple). It lacks sound support
via the sound card (just speaker) and may not be as comfortable as AppleWin,
but it offers a snapshot function. ("<Shift-F8>" will 'quickstore' a snapshot
called "DAPPLE.SAV" in the emulator's directory, <Ctrl-F8> will 'quickload'
it. Other snapshots can be loaded from the memory menu, IIRC.) I don't know
whether Oliver Schmidt, the current author of AppleWin, will include a
snapshot feature in a later release, but I hope he will.
Kindest regards
