I'm dreaming of that too.  Is there a petition somewhere we can sign on?
Apple has to give the sources.  I mean, GS power-users know a lot about
their machines.

I don't see any secrets worth protecting in the GS ROM.  It's an old single
user, single task OS but I'm still amazed by how much was implemented with
such limited processing power.
