kegs_conf is a text file without the .txt extension, at least on my machine.

Yes, you are correct I didn't realize you needed to load more than two hard
drive images.

I'm not sure what the problem is. After reading your post I tried loading
kegs_conf into Notepad (making a backup of the original just in case) then
edited the appropriate lines
and saved it. It booted my edited hard drive image with no problem. I tried
this with kegswin 0.70 and kegs32r3. No problems with either one.
On kegs32r3 I also edited the kegs_conf to use 3 hard drive images. All three
showed up on the Finder desktop. Unfortunately, if you then use the dialog to
change ANY disk image you lose the 3rd hard drive from the kegs_conf file.
I've never tried HFS file images, in fact I have never seen an HFS image so I
don't know whether they work or not.
After editing my kegs_conf file looks like this:
s5d1 = C:\Apple\XGS\Appleworks.2mg
#s5d2 = <nofile>
s6d1 = C:\Apple\Disk Images\autodul2.dsk
#s6d2 = <nofile>
s7d1 = C:\Apple\Disk Images\Q2.2mg
s7d2 = C:\Apple\Disk Images\DW10532.hdv
s7d3 = C:\Apple\Disk Images\Q3.2mg
All three slot 7 drives images are 32meg ProDOS images.
