I don't know how much slower Zips are over SyQuests, but I use
SyQuests to back up my Focus partitions. It takes a while, but not
that long - maybe 20 to 40 minutes per 32 megs?????? (been a while).
So, can't you use more Zips to back up the HD? Even most of the 111
meg partition could be copied to an HFS Zip.
