Speaking of Contiki, I was reading up on the 65xx family

there. Geesh.

In reference to the built in clock, which chip ? I believe
that the plain vanilla cpus don't have it. Its probably
in the "microcontrollers" which have much more crammed inside.

The Circut Cellar has an article on the PacketWhacker. It's
another tcpip chip that is less expensive than the embedded
ethernet board. It runs about $25 semi-assembled and $35 fully
assembled.

I'm really a software guy who dabbles in hardware.
