Building a IIGS/PC hybrid - the modern PC Transporter

I have been thinking about the responses to my other
thread regarding stuffing a PC into a IIGS case. Some
have commented that this is really not a IIGS and in a
sense this is true. My idea was to stuff a PC board
that would represent what the IIGS might have evolved
into had the architecture been allowed to mature.

I have just thought of an alternate project. What if
instead of just a IIGS case, one could incorporate a
real working IIGS motherboard into the project?

For the PC side, I have already chosen the Shuttle
XPC with the tiny nForce2 based motherboard and
the unique compact power supply as my materials.
But instead of stuffing it inside a IIGS case, what if
a IIGS monitor is gutted instead and the Shuttle
components are installed inside the monitor case!
For the display, I would install a small LCD monitor
at the front of the IIGS monitor case. I would use
an ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder display card to pipe
the IIGS video through the PC to the output screen.
The All-In-Wonder has both S-video and component
video inputs. Composite video is useless to me
because I want to actually read the text coming out
of my IIGS.

If I were to choose S-video, I'd need something like
the Video Turtle. More interesting is component
video. How difficult would it be to construct a cable
between the IIGS RGB out and the component
video in?

If successful, the finished product would run both
IIGS software and modern PC software through
the same display. The only thing that would look
amiss would be two keyboards and two mice.
Anyone know of hybrid ADB and USB keyboards
and mice? If I could find a set of those my project
would be perfect. The drives are not a problem
because the IIGS monitor case is big enough to
fit all the drives I want. I would just need to hack
the left side of the case with drive faceplates.
