It is not bothered with Flash animations and everything between
<script></scripts> tag pairs is ignored. Also style sheet stuff
between <style></style> tags is dropped.

Yes.

Other than that, just write text in regular paragraphs and make use of
the <center></center> tag (because it is in there, and it looks nice :-)
