No, there isn't an ANSI-C compiler for the TI, even a cross-compiler.
There WAS a TI-C development environment that compiled for the Geneve
TI-clone and was available as a cross-compiler for the PC, but no-one
seems to know what/where it is, availability, etc...
The best I am aware of and actually have is a version of small C,
which _isn't_ ANSI, and doesn't support alot of things. I wrote an
Unzip program in it back in '89, but had to do alot of inline
assembly.
_Everytime_ someone on the TI group asks about porting this or that
program (like they did with Contiki), I remind them that we need an
ANSI-C compiler, and then you never hear anything else...
Perhaps if I ever find a job in this currently cursed market, I can
finally settle down and start more programming - but my first duty now
is to my family, meaning I devote all my time to that. Even reading
these newsgroups makes me feel guilty! Writing code even more so (so
you probably won't see a minigame compo entry for the TI this
year!)...
