The IIgs Hardware reference says J23 is burn-in edge connector.
If I interpret the schematic correctly, that single connector allowed the
solo motherbpard to plug into power and routed a couple of old gameport i/o
(switch inputs, annunciator outputs ) and some other test pin.
Probably runs the ROM diagnostic invoked with -was it- Control-Open
Apple-Closed Apple-Reset?
