It is up and running. I also have another, a rom-01 which I do mainly
ProDOS work on, developement and such. I will have an extra superdrive
combo if anyone needs one. I can sell the set for $50 + s&h. Anyway, I
am working on all kinds of projects, mostly in my mind right now, but I
don't have much programming knowledge on Apple II so I am looking for
someone good with ROM code and such to help. Someone local would be
great, but I haven't found anyone remotely close who can do it.
I did the Google thing and the only one I found so far that would allow me
to download was in Compact Pro format. Can you possibly email me the
file?, I'm sure it wasn't that large. Maybe I can put it on my site as soon
as
I figure out how to let someone download from it. ;-)
I also am offering people the GS/OS disks 1-6 for less than $1 per disk
plus s&h of 1.50 for a total of $6.50. Why?, because I'm not doing this to
get rich. I just want to see Apple II continue to exist, as I am sure you
all
want it to. I wish I had kept all my other mini-computers I used to have.
I'd have a collection you wouldn't believe. Well, Apple IIs are the thing,
I think they beat all the ones I had hands down. People are still creating
software and hardware for them, and that in itself tells me something.
The IIgs even kills my PowerMac 7100/80, that is hard to believe, but
it does. And it doesn't even have an accelerator.
Well, I will be sure to let everyone know when I get something proto'd,
and I would be willing to let someone try out a first build, if they want
to.
Happy Apple-ing everyone.
