I bought a SCSI card with "ROM C' from ebay Australia and I followed the
instructions from "The do-it-yourself SCSI hard drive manual" by Paladin to
make the DB-25(M) to 50 pin IDC SCSI cable. Once the cables was completed,
I plugged it onto the SCSI card (not HS) which sits on Slot 5. The othere
end was connected to a 160 MB SCSI drive from an old Mac with built-in
terminator.
I run the SCSI test program, and it says no HD detected. The HD is getting
power from an external 250W PS from a used PeeCee. So I think it doesnt
overload the IIe's PS.
What did I do wrong? Any clue from the group is much appreciated.
I also have a ROM1 IIgs and two ROM3 IIgs with one Focus card installed.
The instruction also mentioned "Advanced Disk Utilities" for IIgs. Where
can I get this program?
