Try 'gs --help' on the command line to get a list of frequently used
options and/or read the documentation of GhostScript.

I just tried it with this command line:

gs -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -r300 -sDEVICE=pnggray -sOutputFile=test%d.png test.pdf

First two parameters are telling 'gs' to "print" all pages in one run and
exit after the last page. Next is the resolution in DPI. The device I used
was 'pnggray' -> grayscale PNG images. There are lots of other formats
like BMP, PCX, JPG in various color modes. In the option for the output
filename you'll have to embed a "%d" which is replaced by the page number.
