In theory, programming should be more about concepts and techniques 
than languages and environments, although I'm aware this is not the
case once you leave the academic world.

The web site I'm working with now begun as an IIS/ASP/Access project
but has for various reasons turned into an Apache/PHP/MySQL project,
with the optional bits of C, Java or Flash later in the development.
