IIRC, the Apple /// monitor was a monochrome composite video monitor.
Although the Apple // monitor was made to go with the Apple /// computer,
I suspect more were sold with Apple][+ systems. >>
Look at the design, and you can tell. The Apple Monitor /// is shaped like,
beige plastic textured like, and made to fit the Apple ///. The Monitor // is
shaped like, textured like, and made to fit the Apple //e (or ][+). Both are
monochrome green screen, the Monitor /// was a super shiny glass and low
persistence phosphor. Hence the need for the cloth screen. The Monitor // was
a high persistence screen with the anti-glare surface.
