Putting your BBS's phone number in your sig is OK...it's what I did with the
Skunk Works back in the day, and it's what everybody does with website URLs
today. Posting every single day (or nearly so) with nothing more than a
"call my BBS" message would by many reasonable measures be considered
spamming, especially if it appears that's nearly all that somebody ever
posts in a given newsgroup.
