As we should keep in mind the title "Pirates of Silicon Valley". In all
respects, they all where inspired by what exists. I doubt that there is a
single programmer that programs anything that isn't in any way inspired by
what exists.

There is NOTHING wrong utilizing ideas that others had worked with. What
really counts is how you do it.
Several of you know or heard about the OS that I have ideas of. As its being
worked on, any ideas used in this OS is welcome to be used in others. If you
are inspired by the OS and you develop an OS of your own based on it.
Certainly, I would like "you" to be ethical about it. So the principle is
ethics. Make note that your OS was inspired by mine if it was. The
priniciple is to give credit to those that helped pioneer the programs and
ideas that you were inspired from. If you are inspired by =WiNGS= then give
credit and honor to them. Saying something like, This program was inspired
by =WiNGS=, special thanks goes to the makers of =WiNGS=.

Its respect, ethics and honor that makes the difference.
