France was perhaps the other place. But I don't know because I'm only going
by what I've read about the PCWs. I was lucky enough to have a look at one
here too (the 8256 I think), so know they were released in Australia. It
just seems here all sorts of businesses used all sorts of odd-ball machines
which were suitable for there purposes. The IBM & compatables in my view
didn't really seem to kick start here until Windows 3.0 came out. At that
stage companies like Amstrad, Commodore & possibly a few others which
produced 8bits, started to turn to IBM compatables.
