I have a Laser 50 "educational computer" that has several modes one of which I believe is
BASIC... at least it has basic commands printed on the keys... unfortunately it doesn't
work. It measures about 6 x 12 " with a 16 character LCD display. It uses 4 AA (UM-3) batt-
eries and was given to me by my mother-in-law, who recieved it as a promotional giveaway. It had an available memory expansion and some form of printer interface. Very portable, but
probably not very powerful.
I presume it is made by VTech, who made the original Laser A2 clones and who now make cheap
cordless phones and educational toys. I think it was made around 1989, though I'm not sure
why I think that.
