The Rev C ROM is required for use with GS/OS (I think it would probably
be OK for ProDOS 8 use). There is no Rev D ROM (you are probably thinking
of the RAMfast SCSI card).
No soldering required, just:
1) Ability & equipment to program a blank 27128 EPROM (or is it a 27256?)
2) Someone to email you the contents of the ROM
3) Ability to remove socketed 28pin IC and insert new one.
If step 1 is a problem you may find someone who can buy the blank chip,
program it and mail it to you.
