There is a program in the XGS-DOS 0.5 archive called imgutil.  This
program can convert between, I think, DiskCopy 4.2 and 2mg, or PO and
2mg...

Try shrinking the disk, then transferring it, then unshrinking it and
converting it as a PO disk?  Not sure that would be possible, but you
can try.
