    I have an 8087 plugged into my PC-Transporter (last owner left it there)
but I don't believe it does anything unless a program specifically supports
it, and few did.

    I can tell you one thing, it gets so *hot* that you literally can burn
your finger touching it! I was thinking of attaching a small heatsink
at one point.

    Did the card refuse to boot, or it just wasn't recognized?
