The /RAM volume in a 128K Apple // has only one directory block (block 2 IIRC),
and because the root directory listing takes up one slot, you only can save 12
files to that disk (normally you can get 13 files in a directory block --
blocks 3-5 have 13 files each, while block 2 has 12 = 51 files).

It must be different for slinky cards (never owned one).
