This is a rubber-metal bond. My suggestions would be a small amount ofepoxy glue or thick cyanoacrylate glue (normally used in aeromodellingbut handy for fixing almost everything else in the house). Double-sidedadhesive tape would be less 'agressive' and may hold for a while.
