Since these cassettes contain Integer BASIC, Applesoft BASIC, or
binary "files", it would also be possible to boot into DOS, LOAD the
cassette, and then SAVE the program file to disk.  (In the case of
a binary file, one would need to find the start address and length
before SAVEing, but that's located at a standard place in memory.)

Saving the content of the files, not the tones, would be much more
economical in terms of space--not to mention portability.

And if you ever wish that you had the cassette form, you can just
reverse the process, SAVEing the file(s) to cassette.
