Yes, there were some. I have sitting around a Rana Elite /// which did
80 tracks double sided if I remember correctly. Would have to pull out
the manual. The drive would read normal Apple disks but wouldn't write
to them.
I think the Rana Elite // did 40 tracks double sided.
