Disk-to-disk backup is the _only_ way to go for large disk drives.
And the backup software is as simple as a full file copy (a little slow,
but automatically defragmenting), or a full volume copy (much faster,
but preserves whatever fragmentation exists).
Apple utilities provide file copy capability, but I prefer ProSel's Volume
Copy utility--and it's now freeware.
Either method takes all the pain out of backing up. ;-)
