All of my Apple // software is backed up in two formats; ShrinkIt disk
archives and disk Copy 6.3.2 disk images in PRODOS format. Both reside on
an HFS formatted CD. This way I can get to it from just about anywhere on
any machine (A genuine IIGS, any of my numerous Macs or in Bernie ][ the
Rescue. I even have an ISO-9660 formateed CD with same said archives on it
for PC boxes as a last resort).
I was thinking it would be nice to do GS installs with disk images instead
of real disks like I have always done with older Mac 3.5" disks. It works
fine if you are using Bernie with Disk Copy images, but nothing for the GS
to do it on real hardware by itself.
