getting apple ii software to a color classic with a iie card

Ok, this may seem like it doesn't belong here but...

I have a color classic with a IIe card.  How can I get IIe files over to it
without the stupid mac adding a resource fork to the file???

The internal floppy can't read disks formatted by my Apple II (even in IIe
mode).  And when I format the floppies with the mac (in IIe mode), then the
Apple II can't read the disk.

I've tried copying to a PC disk, but the mac always adds a resource fork to
the file, then Shrinkit can't read it....

Help!!!!
