Hello!
I'm verry new in to MAC stuff etc.
This would explain why you are posting a Mac question in an Apple//
group. FYI, an Apple// is NOT a Mac.
My Father has an IMAC and he wants to upgrade to mac_OS_9.1.
So @home where i have a high speed internet connection i downloaded this
file for him from:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75103#Dutch
BUt i recieved a .bin file. I downloaded it on a win2000 computer. And the
IMAC is not in the same network.
Now what do i need to do with the .bin file?
Can i burn it to a CD? (How?)
Can i burn it as a file to a CD? if so can the IMAC read the file?
No ideas of what to do with this. I would presume you want to make a
bootable CD from it.
I hope you can help me
Absolutely! You want to ask this question in a Mac area. You'd simply
follow the same procedure you used to get here and look for Mac instead
of Apple. Although someone here *may* be able to answer your question,
you are likely to get a more relevant response from Mac users.
thanx!
