Not really a problem unless you have protection schemes which are counting
the number of bits on a track.

Have a play with Locksmith 4,5 or 6.
They have algorithms to count and report the muber of bytes on a track.

As the other respondent in this thread mentioned, look for the "dead
giveaway" self-sync nibbles.

Have you tried using an Amiga computer?
The inbuilt disk controller can read an Apple GCR formatted disk
straight into memory in bit form if you have a 5 1/4 drive attached.
