It goes in a folder on the Mac hard disk.  The installation process creates
the file. Just follow this process:

You can make a ProDos partition on a Mac hard disk if you want, using the
formatting utility. I'm not sure if you can access it thru AppleShare,
though.

If you have a IIe card, you really should make a couple of ProDos partitions
for it. One of the big advantages of the IIe card is it gives you a IIe with
a SCSI hard disk.  You can buy an appropriate Mac and the card for less than
the cost of a SCSI card for a IIe, so it's even the lowest-cost solution.
