I 'trawled' a Schneider MS14 (Zulassungs Nr : NW510/88Ro) multiscan monitor
recently.
It works, I wound it up on the variac with the contrast and brightness turned
full up and got a white screen.
The switches at the back are as follows:
1) Input signal. Analog-TTL. Set for analog
2) Scan. Wide-Normal. Set for normal.
3) Mode. Normal-Preset. Set for normal.
4) TTL Color. Text-Color. Text options - Green/amber/white. Color options -
8/16SAT./16PAS/64. Set for Text white/color 64.
Made in 9020 so probably a _VGA_ colour monitor.
I don't think it is a NEC multisync in disguise.
It has a VGA connector on the back but are the pinouts VGA? A Google search
for either pinouts or Schneider themselves turns up very little either in
groups or Google itself. I will be probing the pins with a multimeter.
If anyone has the connections I'd appreciate it. I'd like a 14" colour monitor
on my GS but after frying a VGA card trying to repair a Radius 21" monitor
(for a Mac) on a PC (finding out later that Radius's like capacitive not
resistive RGB coupling) I don't want to fry the RGB on my ROM3. I will be
making up a DB15 to high density 15 pin cable while I wait.
