Re: IIc keeps tripping the circuit breaker
There is about a 90% probability that you can fix your monitor by replacing
all of the electrolytic capacitors. You do not need exact matches, generally
anything with a same/higher temperature rating, same/higher voltage rating
and +/- 20% capacitance will do (in a pinch -20/+50% is likely OK.)
On the average, a capacitor is suspect after 6-10 years of usage. They are
more likely to go bad if not kept in regular use.
(I do this sort of thing for a living.)
