You can pick up a IIgs for a nominal amount, like $5 to $20. Most of them
come with 1 meg of ram. Useful extras are more ram and a hard disk. The low
cost and high performance (for an Apple II) make them a good deal. They are
very useful for doing the file transfers and working with disks and
extracting archives for other Apple II's you have or would like to acquire.
If you have an older Mac you can network the IIgs to it with just a printer
cable.
It's a good choice.
