The IIc video expansion port output raw signal and Video 7 made 2
separate boxes to attach to that port - one was a 9 pin box that attached
to a digital monitor (like the Commodore 1084S) and displayed 16 colors;
the other one attached to a 15 pin analog monitor like the GS monitor but
displayed only 8 colors. I have both so I'm speaking from experience.
They are rare and they are nice and make the IIc that much more pleasurable
to use.
(Of course, my 8 mHz Zip chip, 100 mb CT100c hard drive, Ram IIc - 1 mb
menory expansion card and twin UniDisk 3.5" drives along with an external
5.25" drive doesn't hurt either.)
