I think my IIGS just died...

Ooohh... I couldn't sleep so I got up out of bed to play Arkanoid II on my IIGS.

First I pushed the "master" button on my System Saver, this turned on the
monitor and the SCSI hard drive.

I waited forthe drive to makes it's usual spining up sound.

It makes the sound.

Second I push the "Auxilary" button on my System Saver, this turns on the
CPU (and it would turn the IW II if I had it switched on).

I get a beep...but then instead of the normal light blue border/text and
dark blue background with text at 80 columns just before GS OS starts
loading off the drive, I see is a Black screen with nothing on it... I sit
there for a minute with nothing happening...

So third I do a key board restart.... I press [control]+[open
apple]+[kybrd power key] and what do I see as the buttons are held down?
"Check Startup Disk" there is no animation of a sliding apple...there is
one chopped up line of junk text that looks like it was probably the
sliding apple animation.

Then I let go of the buttons and the screen goes blank and then we go back
to what happend right after I first turned it on and it could repeat this
over and over and get nowhere.

So, is my IIGS dead? Or is there some other explanation to this?

Oh yeah one thing to note: All power lights still come on..and when I turn
it on the NumLock, CapsLock, and Scroll Lock lights on the extended
keyboard I have hooked up to my IIGS flash for a breif second.
