I have the Apple LCD display, and it is somewhat hard to read, however it does
give a full line width and works well with AppleWorks. I used it with a //c and a
12 Volt lead-acid gel cell/solar panel charger to do some data gathering on
archaeological digs back in the '80s. AppleWorks in combination with a macro
program called "Magic File Cabinet" is a remarkably capable database program. Not
relational, but still very effective.
