Legal Apple II-compatible systems were:

Bell&Howell (this was a cooperation project, Apple IIplus for US
schools)
Laser 128EX (similar to IIc, but 3,6MHz)
BASIS 108 (Z80 and standard I/O built in)
IBS Space series (boards with VG-96 sockets instead of slots, 19"
rackmount systems - for industrial applications)
