Re: getting DOS onto a //c+

Ok, I thought I had this all figured out.
I just picked up a //c+, which has an internal 3.5"
floppy (low-density 400k?).

800K. 400K is single sided

It works, but came with
no accessories, including no disks.

After reading some docs, especially the csa2 FAQs,
I thought I could use dos33dmp to get the first
DOS image onto the drive and then use ADT to get
other stuff on there...

But then it occured to me:
Will DOS3.3 work with the larger drive?
Can I format (INIT) a 3.5" disk with DOS 3.3?

DOS 3.3 can work with disks up to 400K in size. But DOS has to be patched to do that. There are several such around.

Will the DOS33dmp utility work?
Is there some other way to get a bootable
disk via the Internet?
