Long long ago in a land far far away...
(actually, about 1990 in my middle school)
there was a computer lab made up of IIGSs.
When we started up the machines, they somehow
connected to a network and presented a list of
programs.(in white text on a blue background?)
You would choose the program to run, and the
computer would do so as if it were loaded from
disk. I think a macintosh served the files, and
i'm pretty sure the computers were connected by
appletalk. But what I want to know is, What was
the name of the mac software that did this, how
did the IIGS know to get files from the network,
and has anyone else here ever used a similar setup?
thanks
