Hi ppl's,
I'm normally a Commodore person, so forgive the intrusion :-)
Recently I was given a Unitron 2200, which is, I believe, an Apple II clone.
The machine is in pretty good nick, has two external drives, 80 colum card,
serial card & mono monitor.
She powers up & gives the message "DISK ON", but that's about it. Bearing in
mind that I've not been near an Apple machine for around 22 years (!), I
guess I need some sort of disk to get this baby going ?
It contains both a 6502 & a Z80, so I assume I don't need an add-on card to
do CP/M on this machine ? On that line, what version of CP/M do I need, can
I create the disks for it on a PC, or (as I suspect), if it's GCR encoded I
guess the C= 128 can be pressed into service (CP/M mode) to create the
relevant disk(s).
Thanks in advance,
Lance Lyon
