were you using the cdev with title AppleShare21G?

Before you move too many files, double check to see if resource files are 
being saved and read back from the server properly... 
I haven't checked lately, but versions after 1.4b2+asun2.1.3 weren't saving 
the length of the resource fork properly.  
I made an ugly hack in netatalk to fix it once, but never really tracked 
down where it was broken.  They may have fixed it in 1.5.3?
