Apple Man, I understand your feelings about Apple II users helping each other.
However Apple II developers/publishers found their work seriously interfered
with on the web, vs. what used to be, a sort of  joyous cameraderie and support
from the community as a whole. 

I came to the web very late (1998), and I was shocked by what I saw going on.
How could this happen? How could such open piracy and developer interferece be
going on? How could the Apple II online developers/publishers and other
leadership (such as it was) LET this happen?

Well, to make a long story short, I did learn (the hard way), and I understand
completely why they feel the way they do. I am sorry to see some of them
behaving badly. I wish they would take this opportunity to fliter themsleves
back in and continue to support the Apple II for everyone. I plan to encourage
that by letting a few people know of the situation.
