Haven't had a chance to try it with a hard drive yet but with a Compact
Flash
it loads my IIgs system with all the extras in exactly the same time as
an
Apple Hi-Speed SCSI card. This is about 40% slower than with my ramfast.
Now on my IIe it's a bit different. Because the ramfast takes some time
to
poll the drive, the CFFA card will have Prosel 8 booted well before the
ramfast will. After that the ramfast is a bit faster but with the small
8 bit apps it isn't very noticable.
