   Yes, it would.  I used to see the single sided ones, like 20 years ago.  To
make a single sided one from a double sided one, take a piece of plastic and
tape it over the hole on the top side of the cleaning disk.  Don't just tape
over the hole, cause the tape will stick to the cleaning disk itself.  A couple
drops of alcohol on the cleaning disk will do the trick then.

  I prefer to open the drive, and scrub the head myself.  That way you can
visually inspect the head itself.  I have seen some that were pretty caked up,
and no cleaning disk would have cleaned it.

  Somewhere in my vast stash of parts, I have some brand new pressure pads.
