probably want to check out a group in the comp.os.mac.* hierarchy.


My news server doesn't have this heirarchy! Do you know of a free
news server that has them?

I'll search dejanews for them.


I think Mike meant comp.sys.mac.*, the best group would be
comp.sys.mac.system which deals specifically with the operating system.

Oddly enough I did find the comp.os.mac.* hierarchy a few years ago. I thought @home carried it... Judging from the .signature file you are using, I'd best defer to you in this case.

FYI there is a group talking about free news servers. It is alt.free.newsservers. For reading at a decent dialup speed there are a few of them out there.
